On February 23, the ALA will host a special event titled “2017: Reflections on the Past – Hopes for the
Future,” featuring Chief Justice Lloyd A. Karmeier of the Illinois Supreme
Court.
Chief Justice Karmeier will share his experiences from being on
the state’s high court for the past 12 years. He will discuss the challenges
facing the court and what he hopes to achieve during his tenure as Chief Justice.
The event will be held on Thursday, February 23, from noon to 1:30
p.m., at the Union League Club, 65 West Jackson Boulevard in Chicago.
Attendees will receive MCLE credit.
